We are always striving to be one step ahead of the rest at Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive and in December 2002 we became the first independent service centre in the world to receive the Land Rover Testbook T4 diagnostic system. This is a diagnostic system with unrivalled benefits.
Online access using Land Rover’s GTR (Global Technical Reference) gives us the same technical bulletins, service recalls, electronic troubleshooting manuals & workshop manuals available to Land Rover main dealers.
From key fob programming and air suspension to interrogating illuminated dash lamps, all diagnostic and guided repairs can be carried out quickly and efficiently with Testbook T4 on the complete Land Rover model range from 1987 to date.
When Testbook T4 is connected to your vehicle it systematically interrogates the engine management control unit which is automatically reprogrammed with the latest software to meet changing specifications and legislation. This update can significantly enhance the performance of your vehicle.
Testbook T4 is updated monthly to accommodate any new models or changes in technical data. All vehicles can be checked by chassis number and matched up with any technical bulletins or service recalls. As part of the service schedule on Discovery 2 and Range Rover models from 1999 onwards, Testbook is used to detect any potential problems before they become a problem.
Testbook T4 also incorporates Land Rover’s acclaimed hand-held tester. Powered by the diagnostic plug on all vehicles from 1996, the hand-held tester is totally mobile and can diagnose all major Land Rover systems on and off the road.

Les Potts has just taken delivery from SPX of a set of Land Rover dealer standard special tools. Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive Ltd is the only Land Rover independent service centre in the UK to have a complete and up to date set of Land Rover special tools.
Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive have been busy in February 2007 preparing vehicles for the 07 plate launch on the 1st March 2007. We pride ourselves in the preparation of vehicles to an individual’s specification from specialist vehicle preparation to fitting a set of side runners, we can accommodate all your needs.

Les Potts Four Wheel Drive became the first independent service centre in the UK to have all their technicians trained on the All-New Freelander 2. The PDI course is an introduction to the new Freelander and all the training was carried out at The Land Rover Technical Academy based at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
